I have been as a Manager for I.T. Customer Services, really in the forefront of facing the customer to CEO level within many varied businesses, managing contracts worldwide over the last 20 years. Recruitment has been a major part of my Job roles This strong interface between Customer and Management has given me confidence with every day people contact, with a mandate to always look for opportunities and to bid for more new business and retain existing. I have always been placed in the toughest of situations and had to hire employees and directly manage up to 180 personnel, meeting their business and personal needs. To do this I have had to be continuously very resourceful and very innovative and successful in my career, always looking for a new approach.

This experience has enabled me to approach people very easily and explore possibilities with them. I have sold and marketed things in retail and business over Europe and the USA.

As I have this experience, it is a natural step for me to move into recruiting and within healthcare which is a business that has excellent prospects for the next 15 years at least. I need the potential to get great earnings, and healthcare has excellent prospects and that can give me unlimited potential. I have already well above average computing and telephony skills and resources to help me get to my goals.

I am very particular in keeping a process and to keep a record of each person phoned and their response and to follow up, as they could be possibilities again in the future. Organizing  is essential and helps keep me motivated and targeted.

I have real self believe and I am very flexible and able to move with the flow of life. I am very tenacious and have a great sense of responsibility and integrity to others, and helping people to get to their goals will also give me great satisfaction and achievement. I have never been afraid to learn and explore new things and I am excited to meet new people all over the world. I believe anybody can do anything if they really want to.

  • Be yourself, as we want your personality to come through, but being over the top can also hurt or limit your chances of being selected. Play it safe. Being too clever can be misread, as can humor. Humor should be used in a very limited manner as you never know how the reader can take it. It works better when you are talking in person with the potential owner.
  •  In general, stick to facts but position them to be interesting and intriguing so owners will want to know more.  You are selling after all, which you will be doing a lot of when presenting candidates to clients.
  •  Relate how you believe recruiting can meet your professional and personal goals as appropriate.
  •  Remove all references to anything that does not matter in being selected. (race, gender, age, marital status, etc.) These are the same things we cannot put forward when presenting candidates.
  •  Sell your past results. Talk about experience that you have that may set you apart from other consultants or even what results you have already achieved while training.
  •  Try to avoid being too long winded.  Reread what you wrote to see if the same points can be made with fewer words. That hits the target better. Grab attention with highlights or even bullets about things you want to say.
  •  When/If you talk about your personality, do it in one place.  Don't scatter these references throughout the write-up as this will be hard to follow. You can summarize the traits that make you who you are.
  •  Be sure to proof your biography upon completion, paying special attention to grammar and spelling errors. We post them as is, so this can say a lot about you to a prospective owner.

I am a Registered Nurse for people with a learning disability. I have worked with physicians, dieticians, social workers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, pharmacists, speech therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, teachers and other nurses from different specialties; have also worked with guardians, parents, foster parents in a multi-disciplinary forum. I have also been in a position where I have trained senior managers in using the Individual Performance Review, a Goal setting tool for the different management tiers in the Organization. Becoming a Sales Consultant provides me with the opportunity of enabling professionals to achieve personal goals that would include, managing change, with better remuneration and job satisfaction. It also gives me the satisfaction of being part of the process and making a difference. This is a one time opportunity that I would not like to miss out on.
